Elan has a new location in Canada

Elan, the only global brand that makes skis using 100% green energy and 100% in the Slovenian Alps, is proud to open new and extended offices in Montreal, Canada.

Canadians, like Slovenians, love the mountains, nature and skiing and share a similar outlook on life and sport. In response to growing enthusiasm for the Slovenian ski and water sports range, Elan has opened a brand new and bigger office in Montreal. The grand opening was attended by Elan Group Vice President and Elan Winter Division Director Mag. Leon Korošec, President and Executive Director of Elan Sports Primož Plestenjak and His Excellency Ambassador Andrej Gregor Rode. “The Canadian branch is one of the oldest in the Elan network at 40 years of business. We are delighted to see that its sales successes over the last three years have far outgrown its existing footprint. At the same time we are proud to open a new, larger location that will help Elan's Canadian team serve their market even better, serve the needs of our business partners and provide a pleasant working environment for our employees,” said Leon Korošec.

The new business centre in Canada will enable extensions to the product range, improve business processes and streamline logistics. In addition to a wide range of skiing equipment, the centre will also offer SUP boards and kayaks. “We are very proud that the dedication and energy of Elan Sports employees have enabled the company to achieve two remarkable strides in recent years. The company has expanded its core winter sports business and introduced brand new water sports programs to the Canadian market. We will be able to address the challenges ahead more efficiently with new warehouses and offices, which will continue to enable us to deliver a high level of service,” explained Primož Plestenjak.  

In the opinion of Mr. Korošec a high-quality and diversified distribution network is one of the key pillars of doing business in global markets. Over the decades Elan has developed international sales channels and its own subsidiaries in strategic markets, that now form an extremely important part of this network.  Mr. Plestenjak expressed his gratitude to the company’s customers for their continuing trust and understanding and to the company’s suppliers for their support.
